ANTI-SADE zaterdag 6 september 2003 - van 16.00 tot 19.00u Opening van de tentoonstelling ANTI-SADE van Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven in Zeno-X Storage ANTI-SADE Een beperkt team kunstenaars heeft gedurende enkele maanden in het Europees Centrum voor Futuristische Kunst te Borgerhout relatief grote hoeveelheden antisade gecreeerd. De doorbraak waarvan het populair-artistieke vakblad Force Mental binnenkort melding zal maken, opent de weg naar uitvoerig onderzoek van dit raadselachtige spiegelbeeld van hedendaagse kunst. Antisade speelt een essentiele rol in de heropflakkering van elke nieuwe schoonheidstheorie/strategie/therapie. Maar er staat nog meer op het spel. Het onderzoek zou ook het standaardmodelvan de moraalfilosofie onderuit kunnen halen. For some months, a limited team of artists has produced relatively large quantities of antisade in the European Centre for Futuristic Art in Borgerhout. The breakthrough, of which the popular-artistic reference magazine Force Mental (will make report, opens the way to exhaustive research of this enigmatic mirror picture of contemporary art. Antisade plays an essential role in the reenlightment of each new beauty theory/strategy/therapy. But there is still more on the game. DIEPER Dieper is een computerwerk gemaakt rond en met de danser Marc Vanrunxt. In 19 opeenvolgende scenes wordt een numerologisch, existentialistisch portret gemaakt, waarin de hoofdpersoon bij het cijfer 19 in aanraking komt met de filosofische steen. Lood verandert in goud. De scenes worden van elkaar gescheiden door 5 fundamentele krachten, waardoor de uiteindelijke uitkomst 24 wordt. De 24 uren van de dag zijn de 24 ruggewervels van de mens. (meer...) Wherein, with the number 19, the philosophical stone is encountered. Lead becomes gold. The scenes are seperated from each other by 5 fundamental forces, so the solution in the end becomes 24. De anti-strategie van elke modernistische reductieregel verliest haar kracht in de onvermijdelijke confrontatie met de abstracte systemen van radicale negatie en weigering. Dieper gebruikt die modernistische reductieregel als stijlelement om via een soort anti-kwaad, in de essentie van de materie af te dalen. Dus ook af te dalen in het denken, op zoek naar het immorele, de anti-materie. Dieper in de stof, verder uit de hel, met het symbolisme mee, de afgronden in van het menselijke, dat is de bedoeling. The anti-strategy of every modernistic rule of reduction loses its power in the inevitable confrontation with the abstract systems of radical negation and refusal. Deeper uses that modernist rule of reduction as an element of style to descend into the essence of matter by use of some kind of anti-evil. Therefore also to descend in thought, searching for the immoral, the anti-matter.
